Yesterday

Ciaran came round to visit Maggie the puppy! Which was loads of fun :) He's only met my family once before and there are so many of us, we must seem a bit scary! My directions are also terrible! Thankfully he got off the bus at the right place.

We drank coffee, spoke to everyone, played a game of chess (because recently I've had this urge to play chess?!) I also decided we should wear chess hats. Ciaran wore my pirate hat and I wore my cool little top hat. I also gave his captured horse a makeover and turned him into a girl hehe by giving him lipstick, glittery hair and eyes! What a surreal sounding chess game! There was also some Weird Al Yanovich playing in the background. Mind you that's probably why I lost I didn't pay enough attention to the game :( ah well next time, next time!

My mum asked Ciaran lots of funny questions like what does hip hop mean? hehe and Joe tried to speak French.

After dinner I 'tried' to play football, which was a laugh! Dorri and I were on a team and Joe and Ciaran were on a team. Sadly the boys won, but we were close! 9-10

Then we got the bus back to my flat, got some wine and watched a couple of weird films.

White Zombie and another Bela Logosi a film called Scared to Death, where a dead woman on a slab in the morgue, tells the bizarre tale of how she got there, through a maze of murder involving a hypnotist, a midget and a mysterious figure in a blue mask! We thought the film sounded good and might be funny, but not much happened just alot of build up and then nothing. She was just 'Scared to Death'.

Well I shouldn't really be blogging as I want to do some finnishing touches to my article and then head back to my flat because I'm going out tonight :D Moorings and then to Black Tooth Rock Longue at Snafu! It should be a good night! :D
